When should I call 911?
9-1-1 should be used in emergency situations only, where immediate police, fire, or medical assistance is needed. Examples of this are crimes in progress, crashes with injuries or life threatening situations. All other calls for services should be done by using the non-emergency number (610.759.2200).
What are the Police Department’s Hours?
The Police Department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, the administrative office of the department is only staffed from 8am – 4pm, Monday thru Friday (excluding federal holidays).
How do I file a Police Report?
There are three ways to file a report with Slate Belt Regional P.D.:

During what days and times can I retrieve my property?
It’s strongly suggested you call the Slate Belt Regional Police Headquarters to arrange pickup first. Come to the police department lobby between 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the Evidence Unit will be notified. Any arrangements for pick up outside of normal business hours will need to be pre-arranged with the Evidence Custodian.

The Slate Belt Regional Police Commission Meetings are open to the public. The meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday and the 3rd Thursday of each month. The meetings begin at 5:00pm and are held at the Plainfield Township Municipal Building at 6292 Sullivan Trail, Nazareth, PA.
