**ACTIVE ARREST WARRANT**JOSHUA EUGENE EWELL**

On Monday August 25, 2025, at approximately 2:53 PM, the Palmer Township Police were dispatched to a business in the 1500 block of Van Buren Rd for a theft report. Upon arrival the investigating Officer spoke with the victim, who stated as he was sitting outside, his wallet fell out of his pocket. The victim stated inside his wallet was $364.00 US currency, identification card and credit cards. The victim was able to identify a male who was near him during this time.

Further investigation and assistance with security employees / surveillance cameras, the male who picked up the wallet was identified as a former employee, Joshua Eugene Ewell. Joshua Eugene Ewell was observed on the surveillance cameras picking up the wallet, taking the cash out, placing both in his pocket and walking away.

The investigating Officer was able to make contact with Joshua Ewell, who failed to turn over the wallet and the contents to the Police. There is now an active arrest warrant for Joshua Eugene Ewell.
