During the months of July and August 2025 the Palmer Township Police Department investigated complaints of criminal activity at the Sun and Moon Spa, 3128 William Penn Highway, Palmer Township, PA 18045.

The complaints were that employees were engaged in prostitution at this business. The complaints indicated that customers would engage in sexual acts with the workers in exchange for money.

The Palmer Township Police Department conducted an undercover operation at the business and executed a search warrant yesterday, Thursday, August 21^st, 2025. 

As a result, our Detectives seized U.S. currencies and condoms that were hidden in various locations within this business.

Two female employees, 46-year-old Yingrui XIE and 40-year-old Aimin XIAN were detained and later released pending this ongoing investigation. 

XIE and XIAN possess United States of America Employment Authorization cards with China listed as their country of birth. 

In addition, XIAN was found to be in the US on an expired visa.
