***ARRESTED**ANTHONY ARON WELLINGTON**

On Sunday September 28, 2025 at approximately 2:20 PM, The Palmer Township Police were dispatched to the Home Depot for a retail theft in progress. Upon arrival, Investigating Officers spoke with the Loss Prevention employee who stated a black male wearing a white tank top shirt , gray sweatpants and a camouflage baseball style hat, selected several items for sale and concealed them in a bag. The male suspect left the store without paying for any of the items. The total value of the items was $78.91.

The Officer started checking the surrounding area and located the male fitting the description provided on a bicycle, on S. 25 Street / Butler Street. The Officer apprehended the male suspect without incident. The male suspect was identified as Anthony Aron Wellington. Further investigation by the Officer confirmed another retail theft at the Marshall's with a total amount of $288.81 by Anthony Aron Wellington. 

Anthony Aron Wellington was transported to the Palmer Township Police Department for further processing. He was later arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Hutnik, who set bail at $5000.00 unsecured.
