Lower Saucon Police Department Doubles Down on No Shave November

You may still see Lower Saucon Township Police Officers with beards and facial hair during the month of December. Police Chief Thomas Barndt has permitted the officers who participated in No Shave November the opportunity to participate in “Double Down December. Officer who choose to participate must double their No Shave November donation.

All of the “Double Down December” donations will go to the St. Lukes University Network Cancer Compassion Fund

The St. Lukes University Network Cancer Compassion Fund serves as a safety net for patients with cancer. Cancer Center social workers use this fund to help patients pay for their medical bills, medications, transportation costs and even some of their living expenses while they are undergoing treatment, especially if their illness keeps them out of work. The Social Work team identifies patients who are struggling with their finances so they can help alleviate those stressors and allow them to focus on getting well.
