Last evening at the Lower Saucon Township Council Meeting we were honored to have 3 new full-time officers sworn in by District Judge Alan Mege.
Tyler Seeley - 2015 graduate of Northampton High School, 2018 graduate of Northampton Community College with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and is a 2019 graduate of the Allentown Police Academy. Tyler worked as a part-time officer for our department since May 2022 and also worked part-time for the Nazareth Police Department.
Zachariah Pritchard - 2009 graduate of Salem Christian School, 2013 graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and is a 2014 graduate of the Allentown Police Academy. Zach worked as a part-time officer with our department from September 2015 – June 2016 before leaving to work full-time with the Allentown Police Department until accepting this position.
Kyle Bartholomew - 2002 graduate of Saucon Valley High School, 2004 graduate of Northampton Community College with a specialized degree in Emergency Services and a 2012 graduate of the Montgomery County Police Academy. Kyle worked as a part-time officer with our department since September 2012 and previously worked part-time in Hellertown.
We wish Officers Seeley, Pritchard and Bartholomew the best of luck on a long, safe career serving the residents of Lower Saucon Township.
We would also like to again thank Lower Saucon Township Council for approving the increased staffing levels for the department and also for their continued overwhelming support of the Police Department.
