On Sunday November 20, 2022, police were dispatched to a residence in the 1600blk of Wildberry Rd for suspicious activity. The homeowner shared surveillance from the home security camera showing what appears to be three males prowling around the rear of the property at 5:53pm and one of the males checked a rear door from the deck. All three males then walked off to the rear of the property. This is approximately 1 mile from where a burglary occurred in the 1700blk of Hawthorne Rd on Wednesday November 16, 2022, at approximately the same time. At this time, it is unknown if the two incidents are related. Police are urging residents to leave exterior lights on, secure all exterior doors/windows, remember to set security alarms and if they have security cameras to make sure they are operational. Also remember to IMMEDIATELY REPORT ANY SUPICIOUS ACTIVITY and to notify the police department if they are going away a vacation vigilance check can be completed.
