Police are currently investigating two reported burglaries in the 1800blk of Obrien’s Ct. One burglary was discovered Friday evening December 2ndat approx. 6:09pm after police were dispatched for a burglar alarm activation. On arrival police discovered a broken rear window. Police then discovered that the home was entered and had been gone through. At this time, it is unknown if anything was taken.
The second burglary was reported on Sunday evening December 4th at approx. 9:13pm also in the 1800blk of Obrien’s Ct. It is unknown exactly when this burglary occurred. The homeowner returned home from vacation and discovered that the home had been entered and gone through. It is believed that entry was made through a second floor an unsecured door. At this time, it is unknown if anything was taken
Police are continuing to investigate if these two burglaries and a reported burglary on November 16th in the 1700blk of Wildberry Rd, suspicious activity on Wildberry Rd and burglaries that occurred in Upper Saucon Township are linked. Police have been in communication with neighboring jurisdictions.
Police are currently taking proactive steps to increase directed patrols in the area. Police are urging residents to leave exterior lights on, secure all exterior doors/windows, remember to set security alarms and if they have security cameras to make sure they are operational. Also remember to IMMEDIATELY REPORT ANY SUPICIOUS ACTIVITY.
