On July 25, 2025, at approximately 0025 hours, police responded to the area of the Saucon Valley High School practice field regarding a vehicle in the field. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been involved in a crash at the intersection of Reservoir Road and Polk Valley Road.

The driver was identified as Sandra Lee Kunsman and transported to St. Luke's Hospital for medical treatment. A search warrant was later obtained, and it was determined that the driver's Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was 0.166%. Additionally, the driver's blood was positive for a controlled substance.

The driver was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Controlled Substance, as well as Careless Driving.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
