On August 27, 2025, at approximately 2327 hours, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that rapidly slowed down upon seeing a marked patrol unit. The vehicle also failed to maintain a single traffic lane and turned into the Speedway without using a turn signal. The operator was identified as Joseph James Kennedy and taken into custody. He was transported to the Northampton County DUI Center for processing. BAC .16%

Charges filed include DUI, Underage Drinking, Carrying a False Identification (Minor), Driving on Roadways Laned for Travel and Turning Movements, and Required Signals.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
