On September 18, 2025 at approximately 01:53 in the morning a township officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed at the intersection of Bushkill Drive and Uhler Road.  The vehicle continued to travel south on Bushkill Drive at a high rate of speed before leaving the roadway and coming to a rest in wooded area by Newlins Mill Road.  The male driver and sole occupant, became entrapped and sustained serious injuries. The driver was transported to St. Luke's Hospital.  The accident is pending investigation but suspect driver impairment was the contributing factor.  Charges to be filed pending the outcome of the investigation and toxicology results.
