The Forks Township Police Department employs a Community Resource Officer, Joseph Duffy, who plans community events, acts as a liaison between the department and the community, and promotes transparency through social media and the department website. Officer Duffy is also available to speak with residents about concerns or events in your neighborhood. Officer Duffy has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and has several certifications and specialized training relating to this role. He is a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety technician and a certified Crime Prevention Specialist.

Officer Duffy will be available for office hours to meet with residents regarding any topic of concern or assistance that can be provided by the police department. The following are Officer Duffy’s current office hours, where he will primarily be available to meet with walk-ins at the police station (days or hours are subject to change):

Monday (5:00 pm – 9:00 pm)

Wednesday (5:00 pm – 9:00 pm)

Thursday (5:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
