On Saturday July 5, 2025 at approximately 1245 hours Easton Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 22 westbound. Officers arriving on scene located a one vehicle motorcycle crash contained within the right lane and shoulder of the highway. The motorcyclist was taken to St. Lukes - Anderson hospital with life threatening injuries. The motorcyclist, identified as Javian Crespo-Rockmore, later died at the hospital from the injuries sustained in the crash. As a result of the investigation we were able to locate witnesses that observed the crash and the events that led up to the crash. We determined that this was not a hit and run type of crash and that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The Easton Police Department Accident Investigation Team and Northampton County Coroner's Office investigated this crash.
