Police Officer – Full Time / Part Time
The Slate Belt Regional Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and must have successfully completed MPOETC ACT 120 training at the time of hire. Successful candidates are required to complete a competitive hiring process which includes; written examination, physical agility, oral interview and comprehensive background check. THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED.
The WRITTEN portion of the hiring process will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Lookout Fire Department, 123 S. Main Street, Pen Argyl, PA 18072. You must bring photo ID for admittance to the test. Testing will begin promptly at 9:00am, with no applicants admitted after 9:01am.
The PHYSICAL AGILITY portion of the hiring process will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Bangor Borough Memorial Park, Market Street, Bangor PA 18013 (entrance to park is across the road from Bangor Turkey Hill on Route 512). You must bring photo ID for admittance to the test. Testing will begin promptly at 1:00pm.
