On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at approx. 6:19P.M., Slate Belt Regional Police Officers were dispatched to the Giant in Wind Gap for reports of a reckless driver and disturbance. While responding, a Slate Belt Regional Police Officer observed a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle Officers were provided. The vehicle had a loud modified exhaust, and a traffic stop was conducted. Slate Belt Regional Police Officers made contact with the driver, identified as Raymond ROMAN JR. A records check revealed ROMAN JR's driver's license was DUI suspended (two prior convictions). It was later discovered that ROMAN JR's has been designated as a Habitual Offender. Charges were filed.
