On Friday, February 18, 2022 at 6:09P.M. Slate Belt Regional Police Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on S Broadway near the McDonald's in Plainfield Township. Slate Belt Regional Police Officers began investigating the accident and came into contact with one of the vehicle's operators, Robert T. LONG. R. LONG was exhibiting signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. R. LONG was evaluated for his ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and was subsequently taken into custody. R. LONG was transported to a local hospital, where he agreed to submit a sample of his blood for chemical testing. R. LONG'S B.A.C. was .29%. Charges were filed.
