UPDATE: 1/16/2022 at 6:22A.M. On Saturday, January 15, 2022 at approx. 11:00P.M., Lehigh Township Police Department assisted Slate Belt Regional Police Department by taking Christopher A. KIEFFER into custody. C. KIEFFER was transported to the Northampton County Booking Center, where he was arraigned on the charges before a Magisterial District Judge.

On Thursday, December 30, 2021, Slate Belt Regional Police Department received a "theft complaint," from the owner of Advantage Electrical Services located in Plainfield Township. The complaint was investigated, where it was discovered that between June 2021-November 2021 four (4) employees, which includes Christopher Alan KIEFFER scrapped the copper at two different salvage yards and received over $39,000.00 from the stolen copper. An arrest warrant was issued on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 for Christopher Alan KIEFFER.
