On Monday, January 10, 2022, Nazareth Borough Police Department contacted the Slate Belt Regional Police Department in reference to an active (felony) warrant they had for Mathew J. FREY for burglary and other related offenses. Nazareth Borough Police Department requested assistance by having Slate Belt Regional Police serve the warrant. At approx. 8:23PM., Slate Belt Regional Police Officers responded to 109 B St in the Borough of Pen Argyl, the last known address for M. FREY in an attempt to serve the (felony) warrant, however when Officers arrived M. FREY fled from the residence.
At 10:33PM., Slate Belt Regional Police Officers received information that M. FREY was on the property at 204 Stephen Jackson Rd. Slate Belt Regional Police (Officers) with the assistance of Bangor Borough and Roseto Borough Police Department responded and took M. FREY into custody without incident. Custody of M. FREY was turned over to the Nazareth Borough Police Department.
