On Friday, April 22, 2022 at 7:40A.M., Slate Belt Regional Police Officers were dispatched to 108 A St, in the Borough of Wind Gap for a "welfare check." While on location, Slate Belt Regional Police Officers made contact with Michael J. COOPER. A records check revealed M. COOPER had an active bench warrant out of the Monroe County Sheriff's Department for failure to appear for a hearing that resulted in drug charges out of the Pennsylvania State Police - Stroudsburg. The bench warrant was confirmed by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department and M. COOPER was taken into custody. M. COOPER was transported to the Monroe County Prison, where he was lodged.
