On Thursday, April 28, 2022 at approx. 10:42P.M., Slate Belt Regional Police Officers were dispatched to the 6600 blk. of Sullivan Trl in Plainfield Township for a two (2) vehicle motor vehicle accident involving rollover. A Slate Belt Regional Police Officer arrived and made contact with an operator of one of the vehicles involved in the accident. The sole occupant/operator of the vehicle was identified as Christopher Daniel BRUNE. C. BRUNE admitted consuming alcoholic beverages prior to the accident, in addition to the (Slate Belt Regional Police) Officer observing C. BRUNE exhibiting indicators of alcohol impairment. The (Slate Belt Regional Police) Officer determined C. BRUNE was in capable of safely operating a motor vehicle and was taken into custody. C. BRUNE was transported to the local hospital, where he (C. BRUNE) agreed to submit a sample of his blood for chemical testing. C. BRUNE'S B.A.C was .21%. Charges were filed.
