7 Palmer Township Police Officers were recognized by the Board of Supervisors during last evening’s Board of Supervisor’s Meeting. The Officers are:
Detective Sergeant Taylor
Detective Lembach
Detective Strong
Investigator Santo
Officer Border
Officer Gallas
Officer Pagan
These Officers were invited to attend an Awards Ceremony hosted by the New Jersey State Police, recently held on February 22, 2023.
Each officer was honored for their involvement in stopping and investigating a Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Case, which initially was started in New Jersey by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office in August 2022.
This incident involved a Palmer Township resident transporting underaged girls from New Jersey to his home for sexual purposes. Palmer Officers intercepted this suspect with 3 juvenile females in his vehicle, on his way home. Suspect was arrested by Palmer Police and additionally charged in Warren County, NJ.
Each of our Officers were presented a Letter of Recognition by Colonel Patrick J. Callahan, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police.
The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office and Palmer Township Police Department were awarded the Title of “New Jersey Crimes Against Children Task Force Affiliate of the Year,” for their “Commendable and outstanding actions.”
Congratulations to all involved.
Great TEAM WORK by BOTH Agencies!
