📚 Joint Training for a Safer, Stronger Community 🤝🚓🚑
On September 23, 2025, the Nazareth Borough Police Department and Nazareth Regional Ambulance Corps came together for a powerful day of joint training led by Blue to Gold Law Enforcement Training.
The focus? Two of the most critical topics in public safety today: De-Escalation and the Duty to Intervene.
👥 De-Escalation teaches first responders how to defuse tense situations using empathy, communication, and tactical decision-making—especially when individuals may be in crisis. It's about reducing the need for force, increasing safety for everyone, and building lasting trust with the community we serve.
🛡️ Duty to Intervene empowers officers to step in when necessary to prevent misconduct or excessive force—reinforcing a culture of accountability, integrity, and respect.
This training represents more than just policy—it’s a reflection of our shared commitment to transparency, professional growth, and most importantly, public trust.
A big thank you to Blue to Gold for providing such valuable insights, and to our officers, paramedics, and EMTs for continuing to lead with professionalism, compassion, and a true dedication to serving Nazareth Borough.
