On April 10, 2025 officers were called to 135 Mauch Chunk Street at 5:45 PM after receiving a call that the missing female from the previous night was at the home.  Upon officers arrival, the defendant and the female fled the house on foot.  Officers were involved in a foot pursuit and both the defendant and the female were apprehended.  The defendant admitted that he had been hiding the victim at different locations throughout the borough over the last 24-hours and also engaged in sexual activity during that time with the victim.  The defendant was taken to Northampton County Prison awaiting arraignment for the charges.
