On September 8, 2025, Officers were monitoring traffic in the area of South Broad Street and East Prospect. A routine registration check on a vehicle revealed an expired status, prompting a traffic stop. During the stop, it was discovered that the driver was also operating with an expired license. Further investigation suggested the driver might be impaired by alcohol or a controlled substance. Following standardized field sobriety tests, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
