Lower Saucon Police to participate in NO SHAVE NOVEMBER!
To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of “No Shave November” the Lower Saucon Township
Police Department will ask the officers of the police department to put their razors away for 30 days
starting November 1st to participate in “No Shave November 2018”. Typically officers must be clean
shaven, with minor exceptions.
From November 1st through November 30th officers will be permitted to grow their facial hair
to bring awareness and support to cancer research and education. In order to participate and
allow their facial hair to grow officers are asked to make a minimum donation of $25.00 to the
“No Shave November” website.
The mission of No-Shave November is not only to raise funds for cancer research and treatment but
to educate the population about preventive measures. For over ten years, participants have put down
their razors and foregone their hair appointments to join the fight against cancer. For the second year
the Lower Saucon Police Department will be part of that effort. Every dollar raised brings us one step
closer to fund cancer research and education, help prevent the disease, and aid those fighting the battle.
Each whisker grown allows us to embrace our hair, which many cancer patients lose during the battle.
Please join the Lower Saucon Township Police Department in this great cause and help us reach our
goal of $2000.00. Donations can be anonymous or you can list your name and a message.
To help us reach our goal simply donate to our team by going to webpage:
No-Shave November donations will be donated to the following great organizations:
Prevent Cancer Foundation, Fight Colorectal Cancer, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Thank you helping the Lower Saucon Township Police Department aid those fighting the battle.
