On March 28th at 1216hrs police stopped a vehicle for traffic violations and faulty equipment on Applebutter Road. The operator was identified as Robert Allen Pleasant Jr, age 34, from Allentown, Pa. and admitted to police that he did not have a valid driver’s license. Police obtained consent to search the vehicle and located a plastic bag in the headliner which contained a white powdery and crystal substance which tested positive for methamphetamine.
Mr. Pleasant was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drivers Required to Be Licensed.
