On Sunday April 10, 2022 at 1227hrs police stopped a vehicle for faulty equipment on Riverside Drive. Through further investigation and with the assistance of a Police K9, police located 3 bags containing suspected methamphetamine inside a bag owned by the passenger of the vehicle identified as Patricia Pancerella, age 38 of Shenandoah, Pa.
Ms. Pancerella was subsequently taken into custody and placed into a patrol unit. Police later recovered two more bags containing suspected methamphetamine that Ms. Pancerella attempted to hide while she was seated in the rear of the patrol unit.
Ms. Pancerella was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering with Evidence.
