On Saturday April 18, 2021 at 0503hrs Officers were dispatched to the 2200blk of Wassergass Rd for a report of shots fired. Witness’s reported hearing 4 -5 shots. On arrival, police came into contact with a male identified as Kenneth Grimm Jr standing outside and appeared visibly upset and intoxicated. Several witnesses reported that prior to police arrival Mr. Grim was observed standing next to a garage with a handgun in his hand. Police checked the area where Grim was reported to be standing and located several empty cases. The weapon was not located. Police consulted with the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office and a summons was filed charging Mr. Grimm with Disorderly Conduct (M-3)
At 0654hrs Officers were dispatched back to the 2200blk of Wassergass Rd for a report of shots fired by the same male, Kenneth Grimm Jr. On arrival police spoke with a witness who had secured the weapon from Mr. Grimm in his vehicle. Police secured the unloaded 9mm handgun and a magazine with 12 rounds. Police then through investigation learned that after police left from the earlier incident Mr. Grimm was banging on a door, sent a text to a 16 year old male telling him to “sleep tight, have a good life”, was yelling the male juveniles name and then discharged another shot. Police then took Kenneth Grimm Jr into custody.
Mr. Grimm was charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault and Harassment and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000.00 straight bail.
