On August 20, 2022, at 2255 hours, a Forks Township Police officer observed a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the roadway at 1700 Sullivan Trail. The officer stopped and checked the welfare of the driver, who provided a false identification to the officer, but was later identified as Ronald Luzon-Dominguez. The officer observed Luzon-Dominguez to exhibit several indicators of intoxication. Luzon-Dominguez also admitted to being impaired due to taking a controlled substance. Luzon-Dominguez provided consent to search the vehicle, which yielded a white powder substance and tested positive for Cocaine. Luzon-Dominguez agreed to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was further evaluated by a Forks Township Detective, who is a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). Based on both evaluations, Luzon-Dominguez was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Luzon-Dominguez was transported to the Easton DUI Center for a legal blood draw. The results of the blood test indicated the presence of Benzoylecgonine, the metabolite of Cocaine, and THC Carboxy-Delta 9, the metabolite of Marijuana. An arrest warrant was issued for Luzon-Dominguez on January 25, 2023. Any one who knows the whereabouts of Luzon-Dominguez is encouraged to submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH (tips may remain anonymous).
