Forks Township Police Department continues to investigate the theft of mail from several mailboxes in the Township on the evening of February 1, 2023. Forks Township Detectives have diligently pursued tips and reviewed surveillance footage in relation to the thefts. A suspect vehicle was identified, believed to be a gray BMW 3 or 5 Series with tinted windows, black rims, and a loud exhaust (please review the attached photo). Additionally, a possible suspect has been identified in corroboration with our law enforcement partners. We are requesting the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood. If you observe this vehicle appearing to approach mailboxes or driving erratically, please contact police immediately so officers can investigate.
