On May 25, 2022, at 2016 hours, Forks Township PD officers responded to the intersection of Uhler Road and Kesslersville Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Officers made contact with a rear seat passenger in one of the vehicles, who was positively identified as Samantha Ike. Ike's information was run though Northampton County dispatch, which revealed she had an active bench warrant out of Northampton County. Ike was taken into custody for the warrant.
Ike was searched incident to arrest, and she advised officers that she had drugs concealed on her person. Additionally, a search of bags located in Ike's possession revealed several baggies of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia. Drug test kits of both substances yielded positive results for methamphetamine and marijuana. The approximate total weight of the methamphetamine was 51 grams. Following an investigation into the motor vehicle accident and drug possession, Ike was taken into custody on March 16, 2023 for the charges listed in the criminal complaint.
