On November 18, 2022, at 1658 hours, the victim reported his wallet stolen by a co-worker in the 4300 block of North Delaware Drive. The victim originally requested his co-worker check his work truck to see if the victim's wallet was in there. Shortly after, the victim was alerted of $6,000 of fraudulent charges to his credit card. The victim engaged in a text message conversation with the co-worker, who did admit to the theft in the text messages. Forks Township Detectives conducted an interview with the suspect, identified as Joshua Haney, who admitted to accruing the charges on the victim's credit card without the victim's permission. Haney was charged by criminal complaint with (1 count) Theft by Unlawful Taking-Movable Property (M1) and (1 count) Receiving Stolen Property (M1).
